Hello,
If I were shooting at 45fps or some other non-standard frame rate, would I be able to record the result using the HD-SDI output of the camera to a (1080i or 720p) VTR with an HD-SDI input . Would the Red One camera add the necessary frame rate conversion to output standard 1080i or 720p?

I'm wondering how that would usefully work. If you are shooting a non-standard frame rate presumably you want to capture every frame, not skip every third frame or whatever would be needed to record at a standard speed. The camera could not shoot any faster than normal and still deliver at normal speed without dropping frames, as it would quickly run out of internal buffer memory. I think redcode to a drive, or uncompressed via fiber port, is the only way.
