I shot some clips 4K 16:9 in B16 Release. I ran the clips through RedRushes Half Res High outputting 720p in order to marry it up to some HVX P2 clips for rough edit in FCP 6. The problem I am running into is the output results in square pixels in FCP. They are different than the HVX clips which are HD (960x720).

Do I have to use the "scale" in RedRushes to get the HD (960x720)?
Will I lose more quality by scaling the red raw footage?

Sorry if this has been covered before. I couldn't find anything on this.
Thanks,
Mike

Why don't you rather upscale the P2 footage to 1280 by 720? Yes, you'd loose quality when downscaling RED footage to 960. You can just mix the stuff on a timeline with 1280 by 720.
