I'm looking for a certified stunt coordinator for a throwing scene in my film.
An actor needs to be jerked from a standing position and thrown into a wall 10 feet away.

I've talked to someone who knows stunts but isn't certified, and that's a problem for both me and the insurance company.

He said we'd probably need to pull the guy, in a vest, on TWO wires; one for the horizontal pull and one for the lift.

-Who should I contact to ask about this? Where do I find a stunt coordinator?
-What might the $$$ be?

Justin, I'm not sure what you mean by certified? There are different stunt associations, but being a member doesn't make a stuntman certified, per se. They would be in the union though (SAG), maybe even DGA if they 2nd unit direct. Contact SAG and they can give you stunt coordinator rates for the various contracts. Call Bill's to find an experienced coordinator:
