Hi all,
I guess I may well be the most isolated RED user being stuck out here on a small paradise island. Great for underwater imaging though which is what my RED will be spending most of its life doing anyway.
Just wondering where the closest other RED user may be from Palau. Guam? Hawaii? Japan? Australia? Philippines? It would be nice to hook up with other RED users in the region.
Cheers,
Mark.

LOL, thats not the first time people have hinted at visiting this buch of rocks in the Pacific to either help with or work with 954.
Hmmmm, I wonder why?

These are just a few of the famous Rock Islands which make up this amazing place. I get to dive these waters daily and hang out with Sharks, Mantas, Turtles and fish of all imaginable size, color and shape. Its an amazing place.
Cheers,
Mark.

I've been wanting to go there for years - well there and Yap (this way my wife and daughter can "Yap" all they want and no one would mind). Sorry, bad joke.

I lived on Yap too for 3 years. Too many unpredicatble typhoons with the last big one in 2004 which kicked my butt big time and I lost a load of gear (Cams, computers but the most valuable was about 25% of my stock from there). Yap is a great place with great people. If quiet is your gig then Yap is the place. Its famous for Manta Rays and we dive with them there almost every day of the year.
This whole region is just a melting pot of natural biodiversity, great for someone like me.
Cheers,
Mark.
