Hi there,
This forum has been a resource of information and a real problem solver for me.
I just received my RED ONE (#4057) a month ago or so and looking through it, how it worked, etc... there were a lot of things you all guys said coming to my mind. My assisstant was constantly asking me "how do you know that" and the answer was almost always the same "I've read almost every post in Reduser.net". How many cameras in the market have this kind of support? Not only from Red itself, but from all the other users? I thank Red and every one of you for that!
Now let me explain a little bug I've found (the only one 'till today) from the /i data coming from my Red 18-50mm lens (metric).
The thing is that the stop and focus distance information displayed in the EVF and LCD don't really match the marks in the lens. The zoom marks are the only that seem accurate. We fast checked the minimum focus distance at the widest and it matched the mark in the lens (0.20 meters) while it displayed 0.16 meters in the LCD and EVF...
Don't know why that happens and that's begining to worry me (and it's something everyone in every shot asks why it's happening). I'm on build 17 (3.4.1).
Thank you very much for you cooperation,
Jordi.
