Old audio board with build 18?

Do I take any risk upgrading to build 18 while I´m still using the old audio board?
Audio works great now with a Mixpre. Will it work the same way? Any experiences?

Rec audio under 18 with old audio board works. But, when I want to replay : audio_fault on the camera. And I think under 18, I don't have anymore the menu for enabling "yes" or "no" each audio channel recording.
