Hi

Which type of Nikon lenses are not suitable ?

Ie we have been recommended 180mm 2.8 and have seen a D IF-ED version

and a manual non AI PCF are either of these suitable?

Can someone put a guide up for a lens novice to what all the different lense
types ie Auto Indexing mean and which are suitable and whice arnt.

Thanks

All Nikkors will fit the Red mount, but the "G" series AFS lenses don't have an aperture ring so they will only work with the Red/Birger electronic mount which will be available later in the year (we hope).

BTW the ED is the better lens, awesome optic!

I have a list of which but not what type...

so avoid afs lenses for the time being?
