Hey folks,
I was wondering if there are any potential problems in workflow I should be aware of for an EFP environment. Here are some important things to consider that have an impact on my workflow.
1. I don't have to hand-off tapes to anyone. My finished product goes out as QuickTime files on DVD-R discs, or a HD if necessary.
2. I have more time than an ENG shooter would to edit, however speed and efficiency are still important.
3. I won't be buying a deck of any kind, and I probably will be doing any ProRes conversion without hardware encoding (no I/O HD)
4. I'd like to just edit the 2k proxy footage from 4k, or more likely straight up windowed 2k RAW which is what I plan to shoot 99% of the time.
