In After Effects, clips show at 4K in a 2K Timeline

Hi,

Even if i chose Half HQ in the Source Settings tab for 4K footage in Premiere, it opens as 4K in After Effects...

So i have to downscale each clip to 50% in a 2K composition in AE.

It takes forever to render.

What am i doing wrong ?

I'm having the same problem, and it's true that you need a lot more time to render clips, about 4 times longer for a 4K Full Res clip than a 4K Half Res clip. I've asked before if anyone knows if that will be resolved in future versions, but nobody answered yet.
