I reckon I'll be over this year. Missed it last year so I'm determined to see PJ's movie and whatever else they have by then. Interestingly mid september is the kind of time the camera might be available, I wonder if I could get Red to bring it with them and not pay the duty lol :)

How much was the flight Martin? You staying over or just doing the day trip? If so have you booked a hotel room and where?

As always it's best to book hotel rooms as early as possible. Last year the IBC site had some not too expensive hotel rooms available.

IBC (the exhibition) is 5 days and usually has these opening hours:

Friday 12.00 - 18.00
Saturday 09.30 - 18.00
Sunday 09.30 - 18.00
Monday 09.30 - 18.00
Tuesday 09.30 - 16.00

That's for the insider: I will be very "amsterdamned" if I won't be there :ninja:

Hi Paul Just noticed your post. Easyjet £56. I will be there over the weekend, rather fortunately staying with a friend so no hotel bills.

I'll probably book sometime this weekend. I'm aiming to get in for Saturday morning till late Sunday night, is it too early to start arranging a get together for the saturday night for redusers? It'd certainly be a good night to put down for it I'd reckon.

Has anybody been there in the past? I'm trying to find out what the training zone is all about, the main web site is a little sketchy for details.

Hi Paul,

You will probably have have a problem booking just 1 night in a hotel. Last year I had to pay for 3 althrough I was just there 1 night.

Hi Stephen,

Maybe I'll just stay out all night then :)

Saves me having to carry any luggage I guess!!!

In truth I'll probably go for a 3 day break and drag a friend or two along, but thanks for the tip Stephen.
