I think it looks really neat and frenetic like the first one.
Also, they used the XHA1 and the HF10 for a lot of shots, if any of that footage is in there, I think it fits in nicely.
Can't wait until there is a full 1080p trailer up.

I actually don't think they used the RED at all on this one. I know they were talking about it, but for the style of shooting they were going for the Red One was too big so they just stuck with the XHA1 and the HF10.
Thanks for showing the link though. I'm an A1 user (waiting for Scarlet) and for HDV it doesn't look too bad.

Wow, it seems like you're right. Even though they mentioned it in the beginning, I can't find any pictures behind the set of them actually using it.
Everytime I see a camera, it's a XHA1 on a Figrig.
Sorry, I am kind of let down now, I was kind of looking forward to seeing what it could do.

Trailer quality was awful but you could see the potential for how good it will look in the cinema and it looks like a fun movie to boot, I'm sold on this one.

Yea, they don't seem to have a very high bitrate over at IGN, I hope they release it on Apple or Yahoo.

Ah, well that is a little disappointing. Since Che hasn't come here, I was looking forward to seeing a film that was primarily shot in Red on the big screen, guess i'll have to keep waiting for "The Game" from them instead.
But i'm still looking forward to seeing a film that was shot primarily with Prosumer rigs, just because I love seeing how well they stack up under Professional circumstances.

Wow. If there was ever an example of "it's the story, writing, acting, shooting and other production value and NOT the camera" this is it. Contrast this totally pro trailer shot on "non pro" gear with countless RED trailers shot with lesser actors and production value.

It's that scary reminder that what you need is talent and not the gear.
Reminds me of "28 days later" in that way.

Got to be one of the stupidest premises I've seen shat out of Hollywood in a while.
And endless prosumer shakycam with a fisheye lens. Barf.

so.. what's it doing over a shot on red subforum?.. :umm:
Because they said they were shooting it with Red, so since I haven't heard anything different I assumed they were still shooting it with Red.
But, I can't find any pictures of them using it behind the scenes.

Thanks, i'm glad I finally got a "for sure" answer.
Well I am still looking forward to it, I love digital cinema, and I can't wait to see a film that utilizes so many prosumer rigs.
