Anyone use this wireless transmitter with Red One?

Does anyone know how it mounts, gets the feed and gets powered?

It mounts in between your battery plate and your Red Brick (V mount). It will pass power to your Red but I believe it doesn't pass info. It gets the signal from your HD-SDI out via BNC. It works amazingly well within it's operating parameters too.

I viewed it being used at HD camera rentals and it really spectacular!!! it mounts sandwiched between battery mount and battery...

I havent tried it my self but heard reports that its not so good outside as it needs objects(walls etc) to reflect the signal? Also there is a 7 sec wait when the signal breaks up/loss?

Ouch.. I am hoping to use it outdoors quite a bit and that would also be the main reason for getting it... no info being relayed to R1 doesn't sound like that bad of an issue since you have the meter on the side of the batteries... though batteries running out will be an issue so does the battery meter blink or do anything in particular to warn you towards its very last leg? Or you you only get the four bars for 100, 75, 50 and 25%... and then it simply dies?
