Hi all,
Just wondered if anyone can help out - after successfully outputting a number of R3D files as HQ QT clips, out of the blue all I'm getting is a screen shot (first frame only) when I hit play on the QT icon. I've tried reloading redcine a number of times but still no luck. Any ideas would be appreciated.

do you have dual monitors? try disabling one if you do.
from my experience redcine is very dependent on graphics card

Make sure your frame rate setting in redcine mirrors the frame rate you shot in the field. 23.98, 24, 29.97 etc. Not doing this can cause the problem you described.

I have no idea why the base frame rate is not included in the metadata... seems like an oversight.

Get the program "REDCine Reset", go through the reset, and voila, magically your problems will be gone. Don't ask me why that is but that's what I've found works.
