Anyone know where I can rent some PL Mount 35mm Anamorphic lenses in Chicago or Milwaukee?

Yeah i checked there. No anamorphics in house. It's only for a one day job so I don't know how big they'd be on getting them from someone else. You know of any other places I might check?

I know this is late response to the thread, but Fletcher will source any high-end optics for your rental. We are shifting our focus to more optics. We have actually added "Lenses" to our name - Fletcher Camera & Lenses. We are looking strongly at adding Anamorphic glass to our inventory. My optics technician, Al Collins, has been studying it closely.
The big question is 1.3 vs. 2.0 squeeze. Will the next generation of cameras be a full frame 35mm imager or will we continue down the path of 1.78 imagers.

Tom, my vote is for the 2.40:1 format anamorphics. I would love to shoot with those on the RED as often as humanly possible and honestly I believe there would be a relatively good demand for them in this area.
