Used Zeiss ZF lenses

Hi,

Wondering where is a good place to buy used lenses? I know b&H is good for new...but I was wondering where members have bought their used lenses from?

Any good website would be great...!

I'm not keen on e-bay because of the horror stories...

Not sure what you mean by horror stories about ebay. If you are smart about it there are very good deals to be had on ebay.

I personaly have bought and sold 10s of thousands of dollars of stuff on ebay, with the only bad experiences being known gambles.

I got 4 6ks, 5 4ks, 3 2.5ks, 2 9 lights, 2 4k zips, and a bunch of dolly track for $17.5k. That's a pretty good deal. I have also bought about a dozen cine lenses on ebay for massive discounts.........Hmmmmm maybe I have an ebay problem.......

I mean people bid, won and got their lenses finding out the lenses had physical scratches on the lens and damaged outer ring and such.

Its how you photograph the lens so you can't see the scratch or damage. I've had a collegues buy stuff and that's what happened. I was told to make sure you know the seller and stand up by their used products.

If you're buying lenses anywhere, it would be a good idea to read the guide I wrote a while back.
