Being shown on DAVE over Easter in the UK, cant wait. Saw the story boards for the Red Dwarf Movie back in 2002 and that looked excellent.

This is fantastic news. Red Dwarf has only ever been shot on low quality digital tape (I believe series 7 & 8 were "filmized"). I'm not sure I trust Dave to return the show to it's former glory, but it's at least going to look lovely.

Its former glory would be series 1-4...5-6 I do really love...7-8...Sigh!!!

I really hope so. Not totally convinced after seeing the teaser trailer --- but to be honest anything that brings together the Red Dwarf posse without Kochanski and the original crew of the Crimson Short One is good news.

I Love Red Dwarf! The movie got hung up for a while, so long in fact I had thought it wasn't even going to be made, but this is awesome news! At least something is happening with the series again and it is such a great series. Will be keeping an eye for the new stuff.

Nice!!!!

Completely forgot about the being "Shot on Red" after the first 10 seconds [always a good thing]. Look fantastic!! Colours were like velvet and effects integration was really nice as well. The story wasn't half bad (much better than series 8). The sharpness of the image didn't really help with the age of the characters now though.

All in all...Wicked!!!!

I particularily liked the way they handled the giant squid incident...it had the low budget latex mixed with CG, mixed with stock footage...but shooting most of it through the window whilst the Cat is 'oblivious' to it all...FANTASTIC!!!

EDIT: Sorry Graeme...didn't give away any twists I promise...
