His name is Omar and as far as I know he's been doing it for a long time. He used to be with video post and transfer in Dallas and then I think that he may have worked with Mike Curtis in Austin.
I haven't done any work with him but intend to soon.

Great. Yes, I know him. He did some color correction and transfer work for me while he was at The Filmworkers Club in Dallas. That's great to know he's at 12Forward on the SCRATCH. He's very good. I'll call them now.

Hi all, we talked with Patrick, but I thought I would post more about 12Forward here. As far as I know we are the only post house with a full Scratch DI suite in Texas, maybe even the southwest.
We have a full Scratch Suite running on a RedBoxx with a Cine-tal monitor and OmniTek scopes. We also have 3 Avid and 2 Final Cut Suites That is the equipment we are using, but the most important part of our DI suite is the talent. We are lucky enough to have Omar Godinez as our Senior Colorist. He has over 20 years of experience working on di Vinci for Video Post & Transfer, and The Film Workers Club here in Dallas. We also own a Red One, and are dedicated to the entire process of working with RED footage. From script to screen, or anywhere in-between, we offer anything from transcoding of Red files and best lights for your offline to full color grading & conform. If anyone has a project, or is just interested in seeing the suite, please contact me.
