Viper is (finally) out even with all that support from France (Thompson) because
there is even a bigger mess than in US... and nobody knows how it could finished???!!!

Hey Shawn,
I grew up with Grass Valley products like the 300 swithcer, 3K, 4K and now the
Kylipso series. I hope the sale is good for GV, as I did not like the Phillips take over as it seemed to be a branding move that diluted a great brand name!
Maybe you will get lucky and Jim will by GV!

My old Grass Valley 100 switcher was quite the work horse back in the day. Back when component analog was the way to go! Who remembers the Ampex ADO? Every station or production house that had one had spots on the air with video cubes with running video on all sides, all done in a analog, liner, tape based, multi-pass environment. Ah the good old days. Man do I feel old after this post. LOL
