This might not be the appropriate place (sorry Jarred), but as I need to get in contact with a N.Y. based GOOD DoP/filmmakerm, I thought I'd give it a try.....
I need to do some guerilla style shots in new york, on mixed media. Therefore I am trying to get in touch with a good DoP/filmmaker who shoots booth 35, hvx and good old beta. It is for a swedish project, and it is supposed to look like we have been editing together stuff from the news, movies, Jerry Springer, Documentaries etc. Each shot is only a couple of seconds. You need to have a good network when it comes to locations and extras, as well as development and onelight. And yes, it is paid work:-)
If the RED was out, no doubt what we would use to shoot....but as things are I believe we need a small 35, perhaps a 16 and some various video formats.
No lights, supersmall crew and guerilla/music video style.
