question about DX Nikkor Lens for Red

Does anyone know if the Nikon "DX" nikkor lenses will cover the Red sensor size?

yes, the nikon dx sensor size is 23.7 x 15.7, which is nearly identical to the mysterium. Should be beautiful. However, no manual aperture control, you'll need the birger mount.

Cool thanks, I wondered how close the two sensor sizes are.

I didnt realize the DX lenses lacked a manual aperture.

There have been many threads about this already. It boils down to:

Yes, DX lenses cover the sensor.
You will have to use the lens wide open or at max aperture until Birger makes a device to change f-stops.
