I have the EVF and need a way to see the complete menu display in something other than the EFV. I have plenty of other HD monitors if anyone has any other solutions. I have been looking at the SDI outputs which only show me half of the menu display.

If the RED LCD is the only way to see the menu does anyone have one they want to part with.

You should seem the menu on Preview Out provided the LCD AND EVF are not both plugged in at once

I don´t think you´re able to see the menu via HD-SDI,
you need to switch the SYSTEM / MONITOR / PREVIEW to Menu (DVI) and need to connect a Display via HDMI/DVI. Not all display can cope with the signal, mainly Computer Monitors do work, some Monitors with HDMI won´t work sine the resolution is different from the standard HD Signal.

whichs leads us to the never ending question.....

when are we gonna get the frame lines and timecode/clip name display on the HD-SDI out at the same time as the EVF and RED LCD are plugged in. Build 19 maybe??

Lots of people are dying for this feature. Any word on that lately???

I would love the menus on the SDI out!!!!!!!!!

For most of my setups I use my Panasonic 8" HD monitor for lighting focus.... and I also use the Red lcd but only to see the menues (usually my AC steals it).

Following Manuel's instructions, does the histogram information appear over HDMI/DVI too?

Thanks

They said last year that it simply would never be possible with the Red One. (Although they told us the camera couldn't do lots of other things back then, then did in newer builds)
