Best PC to edit red files

I want to build a new computer to edit red files directly in CS4. I want to know what the best video card and processor would be for my new computer. I would also like to use this computer with sony veagas, tmpeg, infranview, virtual dub and a lot of rendering for long periods of time.

CPU: Core i7 920, overclocked with good heatsink like TRUE 1366.
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX285 or similar, SLI if you have spare cash!
Mobo: ASUS P6T6 WS Revolution
RAM: 12GB Corsair DDR3 PC1600 CAS8 triple channel RAM (6x2GB)
PSU: 750-1000W depending on SLI and overclocking goals
HDDs: Up to 10 possible on board, more likely 8 with two burners. More if you want to add in hardware RAID cards and your case can cope!

That's a starter that shouldn't (completely!) break the bank.....

naaaah, don't buy an overpriced old machine!!! :) no core i7? no ddr3? no bluray? if you can afford a boxx, you won't regret it!
on the other hand, i builded my pc for 7k, incluiding a quadro cx and a dreamcolor monitor, dual quad xeon, 16 gigs of ram, and 5 1tb drives. just a week after receiving it, core i7 was released! :waaa: now everything is cheaper, and you can get premiere pro cs4 for free with the quadro cx! my xeons are not so fast, i could afford the 2.5 ones, but a similar apple should cost you twice as that, maybe with better procs, but less hardrives and an apple 30" display. if you are gonna spend like 12k or 14k buy a boxx, if not, build your own using tyan or supermicro motherboards, and if you want to spend less than 7k, go with any core i7 pc, you'll find really decent and cheap ones, put a lot of ram in it, and a decent card. my two pesos.
