I have a Nikon D200 with two lens I love, the 17-55 f/2.8 and the 70-200VR f/2.8 And yes both are G series lens. I have a RED ONE camera comming Not sure which way to go. Option one, birger set up. Option two, sell lens and buy the Nikon 17-35 and 28-70 or Option three, sell and buy the RED 18-50 as much as I like the 17-55 the birger seems to have its limitations. Any thought on the pro' and cons' of my dilemma would be appreciated.

Depends when your camera arrives since the Nikon Birger Mount has no specific release date, even the canon that has been in production doesn't have such a date as far as I know, though I guess it'll likely be shipping around the same time as the camera.

If you aren't getting your camera until 2008 (Late reservation) then I'd suggest holding on till later to see what changes occur between now and then. The beauty of the options that you are looking at is that none of the prices are going to change dramatically between now and then, those nikons you would sell or buy will be about the same price and the Red Zoom won't be changing price anytime either.
