Ok having some major issues with getting the EDL out of avid MC 2.6.7 to produce the correct reels and timecodes for online using Monkey Extract. I ahve done this before with another project edited on MC 3 and not had any issues. I Created ALE and QT's rom RedRushes for offline and the editor says theyimported in ok. In avid they read all the correct Reels and Timecodes, and are correct on the timeline. When exporting the EDL from EDL manager it is completely mixing up all the reels and timecodes. The project is from mixed media, some from tape, some from Phantom and some from Red. The tape material is correct but the Red and the phantom material have the incorrect reel id/tapename and wrong timecodes.

If you look at the sourcs in the bin, is there a value for TAPE for all sources? Same for START - You can send me a bin of the sequence, and I can look at it.

Hi Michael,
All the source in the bins were all correct TAPE name and Timecodes it was when the EDL is generated it did not recognise the correct TAPE name for some of the events. We managed to get it too work in the end by not using the Red16 edl template and used a standard cmx3600. Althought all the Phantom footage which had a 01:00:00:00 had offset the timecodes to start as 00:00:00:00 even in CMX3600. Is this an AVID issue with filebased editing?
