Hello All-
I have a couple of questions. We have been doing some tests on the RED workflow from FCP to Smoke, and some from AVID to Smoke. I can get this all to work 23.98 without any issues. I can bring in the 23.98 RED DPX sequences to Smoke in a 59.94 project. The issue, as you can probably figure, is if the project was offlined at 29.97, FCP will retime the 23.98 wrapped files to work at 29.97. When I import the files into Smoke, they come in at 23.98. Does anyone know a way to have the files cine-expanded on import? Am I doing something wrong along the way. 99% of our work is for TV and needs to be finished in 29.97, so I was hoping there was a piece to the workflow that would expand the 23.98 to 29.97.
Any help would be appreciated.
