Frame Rate Setting Help

I hope that someone can help. I'm having a problem setting up a project.

I'm on Build 17. I'd like to shoot 4K HD with the RED Drive/Redcode 36 at 30 fps. But I can't get it to work.

I get a incompatible project when I go to those settings.

I can't get above 24 fps. on frame rate in any setting with CF card or REDDRIVE.

I reformatted the drive, then went and set the project settings up but can't get it to work. Tells me incompatible media/project at any frame rate other than 24 fps.

I tried a RED CF card also, can't seem to get any frame rate faster than 24 fps.

Tried 3K 16:9 at 60 fps with a RED DRIVE REDCODE 28 and 3K 16:9 REDCODE 36 at 50 fps with REDDRIVE.

Thanks for your help with figuring this out.

It's probably something simple that I'm not doing right.

If you turn "Max" Off you can do it! To a RedDrive 4kHD RC36 29.97 (30)fps. This is my normal setting for my beauty commercials.

I thought I'd tried unchecking Max already at one point.

Tried it and it now works, thank you for your help with getting me going.

Had to reformat the drive to make it work after unchecking MAX.
