crimson help

I have the following problem matching files in crimson:

-the red "offline" files were renamed in fcp
-when I open the xml in crimson the "file reference by sequence" shows of course the changed file names:(

How can I get crimson to find the original .r3d file? O do I have to tell the editor to go back and rename all the 50'000 clips with the original names?:)
