Hello. I hope you guys wont mind a total RED newb asking a few general questions.
If I decide to order a camera, should I also bother putting money down for accessories/lenses? Or are these items expected to be less in demand? I would prefer only to tie up the minimum amount of funds, mainly because I havent made up my mind entirely about the accessories. But I want to get a place in line for a camera as soon as possible.
Once the camera becomes available, will they ask me for my method of payment for the remainder of the balance?
Also, what seems to be the popular feeling about the RED prime lens package? Has there been enough seen of these lenses to determine their quality/value? As opposed to 3rd party lenses? I understand that Peter Jackson shot his short on his own lenses.... ?
