Hi all
So have been in Kabul again for the past several weeks. But slammed with work and getting our new Sat News vans up and running. But I had time to go out and shoot this weekend and my friend shot me shooting with the Red in the city on Sat.
Enjoy - The footage I shot will be up a soon as I edit.

Get back end of March. My boss wants to pick up the conversation then and get into the details. I will send a PM to your work email and catch you up.
And so far so good, we had a big series of car bombs last week, a coordinated attack at 5 locations in the city. But am staying safe.

Hey Ron, that lens looks familiar! Glad to hear all is going well in Kabul. Keep your eyes open, stay safe and get some great pics. It'd be great to see one of those nomadic caravans we talked about in 4K!

Hi Ken
Yep, same one from the shoot. Also brought the 300mm for the longer shots. Need to find a good 500mm with out selling my soul. I am going to head down to Jalalabad this coming week, will see what I can find in regards to the caravans, alot of them head into Pakistan for the winter. Did a bunch of around Kabul shots today that I need to edit up and will post on my website. Should be later this week. Will let you know when it is up there.

Hi Ronald,
How funny I'm in Pakistan too, but didn't bring my RED, production decided to go with sony ex series. We had to many logistical things going on to bring the RED although I pushed for it, but had to leave mine home ;-(
Hope you have a great shoot and would love to see your pics

Hi Mr Glory
Will be in country until end of March, back home for 3 to 4 weeks, arrive back in May through June, back to USA in Aug for SUMMER VACATION.
When you get your orders let me know the local. I get all over, down to Kandahar and KAF, Herrat, Mazar, J-Bad, Logar, Wardak, etc. So maybe we can hook up during your tour. It would be great to spend a few days with your unit shooting, would have some one to share the load with and you could get some of your own footage.

That place looks rugged! Post the footage asap.

I hope you have some armed guys with you, because that camera probably looks valuable to locals thieves, even if they wouldn't know what to do with it. :)
Always best to have lots of guns around in Kabul.
