I have just receive a Hasselblad T* Planar f2 110mm as a present.
This is the first time I have such a lens in my hands.
I did a search in Internet and found that a Nikon adapter exist with a price between 50 and 150 dollars.
The lens would become around a 90 mm using it on a DSLR body.
My question is would it be worth while?
Wouldn´t be too risky to mount such a heavy lens on a double PL-Nikon and then a Nikon-Hasselblad adapter?
Thanks
Piero

Hi,

The lens is not very fast, it will work OK but probably not a sharp as a Nikon 105 mm.

The Hassleblad lens will have the same angle of view on a RED as any 110mm lens

I made a Pentacon / PL adapter for a job where the director wanted to have production buy him a Hartblei 45mm Super Rotator, it was absolutely essential to be able to Super Rotate in any direction at any time*.

You could do a Hassy one and it would look pretty similar.

The Hartblei 45mm Super Rotator worked like a charm. I think this would be usefull on the Zeiss Jena Sonnar 120mm 2.8 and Zeiss Jena Sonnar 180mm 2.8 which are nice classic telephotos.

I don't think Medium format has much to offer except for telephotos and that wacky Hartblei 45mm Super Rotator.

*It's just a tilt shift lens with a Super Cool name.

After reading that, I think I´m going to make an exchange for other lenses.
Thank you Matt
