i hope this has not been discussed before- sorry i could not find anything!

i got the information on the bottom right corner of my lcd "10 frames burst"

what does it mean and how did it happen? i restored the camera back to factory settings and now everything is fine again. just wanna know what i did wrong cause i have no idea..!

Was timelapse turned on in the sensor menu?

yes, it was turned on!
but what does it mean? how can i avoid it and how does it affect the recordings?

Well unchecking it will do the trick :-)
