update problem

hello

It has probably been answered for 100 times, but please if somebody can point out to solution it will be great.
so I am trying to update the camera, the camera does not have CF card slot. So I am trying to update with SD card, which is 2gb sd. I have read somewhere that only 1gb sds are supported, can it be a problem. Currently its build 15 and I want to go with 17, so I guess I have to go all the way first with build 16 and then 17, but it is not working any way. Can you tell me where I am going wrong? and what do I have to do to solve this, as we have feature coming in 2 days and I want to start it with newer build.

Two things.

From 15, you must first update to Build 15 V2.2.8. Then you can go to Build 16 and / or to Build 17 ( you can skip 16 if you wish)

2GB SD cards are not supported.. but you can upgrade from any media - RED-DRIVE, CF, SD (to 1GB max) or even USB...

but as I can not see any 2.2.8 in release build, am I looking in the wrong place? should I look in the beta builds?

You should find that Build 15 V.2.2.8 is part of the Build 16 package...
