I just downloaded clipfinder and I can't get it to import any clips. I've tried choosing "import clips from directory" but nothing comes up. Is there something I'm missing? Everything shot is build 17.

Nevermind. It seems that clipfinder won't import clips from NTFS formatted drives. Mac formatted drives seem to work properly.

Is there a way to sort all proxies of a certain type into a folder for quick import into FCP? For example if I know I am editing with only H proxies how can I import all H proxies from a certain day into my timeline without having to individually select them from each folder?

Hi,

To import clips via Clipfinder into FCP
- load clips into Clipfinder
- select desired proxy resolution (P,M,H,F)
- select clips and drag them from Clipfinder into FCP

More info is available in Clipfinder by pressing CMD-?

Cheers,
Hans

If you need to work with NTFS drives on the Mac, get Paragon NTFS. It works pretty well for me.
