Feature film (90min) shot at 24fps. Project is cut with _M proxies and in Final Cut.
Color house is requesting 23.976 DPX seq for color. How can I do this?
Can I change the Framerate in REDcine when exporting DPX?
If so, will this cause problems with audio sync back in Final Cut?
Hoping someone has crossed this bridge already....

I don't think it really matters. I might be wrong, but as I understand it in a frame sequence world 24fps and 23.976fps have the same number of frames, it's just a matter of playback speed. So audio would be what you change (speed up or slow down) to sync back to picture.

red cine has a frame rate tab on the project page you can change it to
23.976 to pull your dpx files.

If I use RC to render 23.976 DPX - bring those back into FCP, under in a new sequence...
How can I do the same for audio?

I'd say render out at 23.976 in Redcine. Don't roundtrip int FC, just take those stacks with your edl to the color house.
Make a aiff of your whole audio track (if audio post is done) and stretch or sqaush it the right amount in a proper program.
then the whole thing should resync. Since your EDL will just reference frame numbers or timecode picture should still work.
I'd do a short test before you bump out the whole 90min and take it all the way to the color house.
And yes, never shoot 24.

Thanks for the input... Here is exactly where I am:
I have output OMF files w ref video (of the original 24fps) edit. Dialogue edit and sound design is under way at one place, score is being done at another (both of which are only 1 day into it).
Color house is now saying that they want 23.976. So my thought is to just conform the whole project to 23.976 and resend elements to each house.
Simply put: Is there a way to "make" my proxy cut in FCP 23.976 instead 24 so that everyone is working from the same framerate master?
and yes, I will NEVER shot 24 again.

And yes, never shoot 24.
