This is a couple of months old, but did anyone read about a Florida State University film student that received the ASC Heritage Award for a short shot on RED?

It's nice to see the freedom to choose between film and digital based on the needs of the shoot.
Also, for having eight RED Ones, are there any FSU film students / faculty here on the boards? There's scarcely a mention of FSU in a full forum search. Would be interesting to read about the adventures / rigors of RED in an educational environment.

Are there any clips or even the name of the movie? I can't find out what it was.
I had no idea that FSU had EIGHT REDs. I know Valencia down here in Orlando is going to be renting a few REDs with a 3D rig for a 3D horror movie, and I think they're gonna try to get one soon. Here's to hoping. :)

Hey Jerrod,
You're familiar with Valencia's program? I'd appreciate any insight you have into the program that Ralph Clemente has put together there. I made a related thread here (for more background info on me): http://www.reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?t=27233
As for FSU, I don't think the article mentioned it, but here's a video interview where the winner discusses the project more in-depth. No clips from the movie, but some good info nonetheless:
