Maybe it's been asked... And answered...
Is it possible in a next build to have one video output switchable in Pal or Ntsc from the camera?
Maybe a stupid question as it's different tecnologies...
Would be convenient if possible...

Thank you for the advice... If we can avoid downconversion stuff of course that's better for everything (another piece of equipment, image quality etc...) :innocent:

I have taken a couple hours to look at all of Stephen Williams posts. It really makes you wonder what exactly his motive is for being here. Who is paying this guy to troll here all the time? Its a little tired.
With over 2,900 posts here and 3,900 + on that other forum, when do you have time to actually work?????

Man, don't you have any respect? Didn't you know that the love of his life is terminally ill? Cut him some slack. It's understandable that he would be a little negative on the forums when his lifelong love has already purchased a grave site and made funeral arrangements for the inevitable. I'm talking about film, of course. ;)
On a more serious note, Stephen is not a troll; he makes many valuable contributions. Every once and a while he likes to rain on someone's parade is all.

Not according to the union techs running monitoring... if it ain't composite video, it ain't getting hooked up. I guess it depends on where you work, but NTSC / PAL video is still very much relevant.

I shoot film as well, but still see RED for what it is without all the BS. He's raining on parades 98% of the time. But yes, once in a blue moon there is something of a contribution that doesn't attack RED.
p.s. your post was great, laughed out loud.

Check this out. Not sure if it can convert NTSC to PAL but looks like it might help you.
