Wondering if any of you out there have had experience with this glass. If so could you give an overview on the performance in general. These, as I understand it, would be suitable for 2K.

I haven't tried them but I've heard that optically, they're pretty good. I believe they're russian built similar to some Optar 35mm lenses I have. If they are the same quality (and from what I hear they come from two different facilities, so they probably aren't) then they are descent optically, but mechanically they may have a tendancy to break down.

When I say "descent" optically, they won't be as good as Zeiss, but of course they won't cost what Zeiss does.

Note that these are 16mm lenses - so they won't be suited for your 4k recording. The 35mm Optars are hard to find.
