We shot the whole thing with 2 dvx cameras.

do to the fact that many plan Sundance in advance ( as in months) many will not be there for RED night ...

so let's jump to NAB !!! perhaps a bit of PLANNING !!! many are making NAB travel plans NOW .. if there is any hint of a RED get together date i would plan around that date ... once hotel/airline are booked it is very difficult to change 3 days before ....

so how about a RED NAB date soon - even i tentative one that could change ???

Also, the world premiere of my movie is taking place on Saturday the 27th, if anyone on this thread would like to come. It's at the Main Street Mall, 333 Main Park City. It starts at 11:30 am.

It's running as part of the Park City Film Music Festival (which runs concurrently with Sundance), and it has been nominated for "Best Use of Music in a Feature Film".

The name of my movie is Desert of Eden. It's about 6 people who get stranded in the desert by a plane crash.

I hope to see all of you at the party, and then at the premiere!

But alas unless I can find airline ticket to the US it ain't going to sadly happen. All in all I would say it was allot of fun. Only thing that sucked was had to bail eariler then I wanted to due to a friends film screening.. But all is good.

I wish I had taken more sorry. I had a good one of Kelly and another of Ted but i can't find that memory card... It sucks.. And I don't want to hear anything I know they have a ton of noise. I didn't want to take the time to find the right Exposer it was a party..

Are you thinking to buy a RED ONE too? And give us such beatiful images from Chicago as before succeeding your HD100? If it wasn't RED I had been a HD100 owner now perhaps -- who knows? My favorite 1/3" cam though 720p, this one rocks as the best bang for the buck. Of course, before RED. :D

...They're native to the area. I'm near Denver, so just on the other side of the mountains and we have them around here too. They're scarce now, and considered endangered / protected. Ranchers can still shoot them if they're threatening livestock or they can use non-harmful trapping methods and turn the cats over to wildlife authorities for release somewhere else. Actually I think they may not be able to shoot anymore, only trap with government permission now that they're endangered.

So yeah, a cougar... Fits right in with moose, elk, deer, bears, wolves, eagles, falcons, racoons, beavers, coyotes and everything else that's native to these parts.

...I'm not a big fan of hunting and prefer to shoot wildlife with just a camera.
