Yeah man, you got that right. Also their Arri bayonet to PL adapter looks very nice.

Oh yeah, and their flange focale depth gauge is nicer then any of the ones I ever owned. (Do not use this on your RED camera! lol)

Actually I think that's a fair price, well fair only when considering the price of other tilt plates, even a Tango mk2 swing is $4,700 euros.

Hi all,

I've decided to wake this thread from the dead, because I just had a look at Denz's follow focus units and they do look very nice. They have a lightweight unit : http://www.denz-deniz.com/folo_foc.htm
which costs € 1310 and a studio unit for € 1750 with different mounting options, including 19mm. There's all kind of accessories, including different gears : narrow and wide 37 teeth, 45 and 58 teeth cine gears, and Fujinon and Canon gears, whips, right side operation, etc.

This is not cheap, but mid-level, anybody have experience quality wise ?

Cheers,
Damien

I'm interested in this too. The RedRock appears to be for stills lenses. We have an FF3 is perfect for studio work, but we need two more and at least one needs to be lightweight.

There was a post on these forums where someone tried a few, but I can't find it.

Is this what you mean Irri?

Hmm. I'm not sure I like the look of any of those in the video.

The Denz comes close to the price of an FF4. I quite like the FF4.

Of the ones shown in that test I like the Petrock the best except for the gray indicator surface.

Did you see that directors viewfinder? Pretty cool, it uses a ground glass, you just hook your lenses right onto it.

I've never seen one like that.

No Chris that is the RED PPC proto... :)

Actually, I hope they go in that type of direction.

Must sleep now.

I've never seen one like that.

There have been lotsa different ones made over the years. I even made one for the lenses used on the Showscan 65mm cameras. Used a Pentax medium format penta prism to erect and flip the image.
I believe that one is for 16mm format lenses.

Anyone got a price list for the Denz products?
