I have a mono mic plugged to the RedOne, and I'm listening to stereo headphones and I'm only getting sound on one side (not surprising, but annoying). It would be nice if there was a menu option to send the mono signal to both the left and right headphone channels.
If there's already a way to do this, please let me know what it is. If not... Red, please add the mono->stereo feature in a future build.

Just get a mono miniplug adapter (mono male > mono female)

I don't think this will work, as you will just short-circuit the right channel...!!!
You could make your own adapter like this: take a STEREO male miniplug and wire the tip (left) if you're using channel 1/3, or ring (right) if your using channel 2/4 to BOTH tip and ring of a STEREO female miniplug. You might lose some power depending on the impedance of your headphones, but you will be listening on both sides.
And YES, it would be nice to have the ability to select a mono mix of all 4 channels...

channel one is audio and channel two is timecode.
is there a way to just hear channel one while recording and playback.

Better to use the dedicated 5 pin timecode input to record your timecode, or failing that, use audio channel 3 to record the timecode...

What's the "Quad Mix" option in the headphones menus then? Sorry not with my RED at the moment, so not able to check for myself.

According to the manual (Build 17) it feeds channels 1 & 2 to the left and 3 & 4 to the right (shouldn't it rather be 1 & 3 to the left and 2 & 4 to the right?).
