This has to be one of the best videos, like, ever. :)

Eccentric Cinematography god Christopher Doyle (with a beer in hand) guides us through one of the most iconic locations in In The Mood for Love, raps in Cantonese with some HK locals, lays out some David-Lynch levels of philosophical musings, and even lets us get a glimpse of his apartment in Hong Kong's Kowloon district.

Very cool video!

Thanks!

Doyle, IMO, is a cinematography master. He is known to be kinda crazy, but just an absolute genius, and this is a small glimpse into his world.

My wife and I watched the clip and enjoyed it, but she didn't buy that I now need to visit the Bangkok red light district to study color theory from young women...

I just saw "Paris, je t'aime" with my fiance and (overall) enjoyed it very much. Although I have to say that Mr. Doyle's segment was a bit bizarre to say the least. But visually, very interesting...

LMAO, David.

Your wife obviously needs to learn more about the inspirations of true motion picture artisty. :)
