Anybody at NAB managed a meaningful comparison of one prime set against another? Busting to make an order but how can I decide?

Wait for the SALT results. Big lens test, with some big names involved.
See the sticky at the top of this forum.

Whilst lens tests carried out by others are always interesting, ultimately - imo - nothing beats shooting with them for yourself.
If I were you, I'd rent each set that you find interesting (here's where SALT may well be of major importance - in narrowing the field) for a couple of days shooting, get a feel for the look, mechanics, limitations etc of all of the sets and then make your decision.
Essentially, by spending a bit of money on renting (or losing a little income if you're pro and it's all client's money), you're self-insuring against a bad (or less than perfect, at least) choice...
That's my 0.02 - remember, buying glass is in a lot of ways a more important decision than buying a camera.
Cheers,
Dom.

I'm waiting for the sweet chili sauce results
All very good advice thanks guys. It's difficult (and easy) as, ultimately, it won't be me shooting with the things, so I can only do so much. I'm sure some DP's will want to hire in but we need a kit to service those who want to one-stop-shop. It can be such a chore spending other people's money. :)
