This guy has some interesting ideas, but building your own camera instead of buying a RED One is a bad idea. It is cheaper to buy a RED than to make something from Sony parts. Look at the link below to see what I mean.

I like his idea of adding a SLR to a camera phone.
Now if only this guy could hack the iPhone and turn it into a Skype phone, so I can call my friends in Europe for free. That is something the Woz would do in his younger days.
