These are some pictures from the NAB floors.
In general just all over the place.
Things I found interesting and or something some of you might like to see.

Those pictures of the poor little Canon SLRs with all the crap hanging off of them are just sad! It's amazing the lengths people will go to.

Dont be disappointed if you didnt go this year.
It was by far the worst year ive seen ever.
So many missing companies and displays that it bummed me out.
There were many fantastic things as far as lenses go and a few other things but other than that you didnt miss anything super.
REDRAY was awesome,
RED of course was cool and REDUSER saved much of the day.
The white ball was very cool,
they were playing music from like a unique horn from some country.
Anyhow the ball felt as if the music was coming from the instrument no matter where you stood kinda a simple idea yet effective it had i think 26 speakers in that 1 ball and a crap load of wires into it.
Kinda like a true surround sound no matter where you stood.
The Canon SLR's felt like the future of things.
It seemed like possibly a strong option for future productions.
I see it becoming popular if they keep going in the way things are going with SRL cameras high frame rates and so on.

How disappointing. I thought it was the trainer unit for young Jedi warriors learing how to use a light saber...

Thanks for the pics, very handy for those unable to attend.
Who makes those "big" lenses I didn't recognize the manufacturer/brand?
Cheers,
Eric
