I guess this should not be a surprise to us since we've been the ones eating up all of Jim's time. I am sure there are a hundred reasons or the sale, but it would seem Jim's committment to RED is beyond question. As Mike says, he's "all in".

I never had a doubt.. Exciting stuff!

Yes indeed...

The buzz on that hit the Off Topic forum with a thread early this morning.

No worries Jay...I think that news should be of major interest to this board. Early this morning I first noticed it via a headline on the home page of the MSNBC web site, under the Business column. It is major business news, and I agree with you and what Mike Curtis posted - if the deal closes as described in the press release, it could bode well as a health thermometer reading for RED.

I agree. RED 'should' benefit.

I guess we are going to see alot of RED products in the future for sure now. Good news!

Who knows. Maybe RED can become as iconic as oakley in the film buisness.

Well it is OT... As it's not about the RED One or RED directly. Besides, we already have a thread on this here (http://www.reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?t=2946).

Yep, what zakaree said...

But I'm closing the thread still since we don't need two on the subject.
