I am getting a bit of skew shooting aerials. trying various shutter speeds.

20 mm lens - shows up in the corners.

Therefore, If I shoot 3K, will it go away??

Hi James!! Couldn't resist. When you normally shoot with this lens do you get beveling? I also need to know why this doesn't work.

What a nice surprise!!! Of course you know who I was flying with this morning.

I'm not familiar with the term "beveling" - the lens is the Nikon 20 F.2.8 manual, and I have not noticed any distortion in other settings. This is strictly from the vibration of the plane.

Shutter speed won't affect the read reset speed of the sensor. But faster shutter speeds can make the skew more apparent since they reduce motion blur. I'm curious as to why it would just show up in the corners. This doesn't sound like skew.

I don't know if this helps or not but we shoot from large RC helicopters and 9 out of 10 times if we have distortion it shows up in the corners and, as mentioned, is always the result of vibration.

We will be shooting the the Red on the Helicam in the next week or two so I am interested to see how it handles the frequencies produced by the helicopter.
