Perhaps this has been discussed before, but I have searched & can't find a relevant thread.

In short, since the Red camera records in a raw format that is not processed/color corrected/scaled/etc. until post, what type of image may be viewed live on set through the HD-SDI outputs?

Is there a provision to immediately preview the final look, or will the situation be analogous to a film shoot, where the video tap bares only a remote resemblance to the final image?

The electronic viewfinder port, LCD port, HDMI port, HD-SDI monitoring port and dual-link HD-SDI recording ports all have RAW -> RGB processing applied. This includes any look changes you have made.

These look changes are saved with the RAW data so the post processing software will use that as the default settings (which you can reset or alter as you see fit).
