I've always liked Taron's work -- www.taron.de (http://www.taron.de/)

Or take a look at the SpinQuad gallery (http://www.spinquad.com/forums/spotlight_v2.php?m=archive), about 1600 images there to flip through.

There's plenty more, let me think if I can remember some links to animations.

Can't go wrong with Tofu, the Vegan Zombie (http://www.spinquad.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17479).

His main site is here (http://www.tofutheveganzombie.com/).

While primarily 2D, both DeviantArt (http://browse.deviantart.com/digitalart/3d/?order=9) and ConceptArt (http://www.conceptart.org/) have a good selection of 3D artists as well. While the quality is... uh... variable, some of the artists are as good as any I have seen.

It is easy to get sucked into these sites for hours on end, and when my skills are developed enough so that I don't embarrass myself, these are the places I'll be putting up my work.

I will someday soon, but it will be almost all backgrounds and landscapes. I certainly have enough training materials to get started, but I'm just too addicted to "other" things at the moment. When I actually hire a few people someday, they will be mostly professional 3d artists, and I will learn as much as I can from them.
