Hi UK Folks,
I've been away for a while and I was wondering what happened to the email list we all put our details on when we met up at The Couch back in May?
Did anyone ever recieve anything ?? I didn't.
Can anyone remember who had the list in the first place? If you can please let me know and I'll try and get in touch.
If you have the list and are reading this can you send it out to all of us please?
Many thanks, Phil

Hi Phil
I have no idea what happened to the list or who has it, but I would be interested to know too.

Hi Martin,
I'm trying to recreate the UK users email list so that we can all share it.
So if you'd like to be on that list please PM me your private e-mail and I'll add you to the list and mail that out to everyone on it so far.
Thanks, Phil

Hi UK Redusers (and people interested in RED in the UK),
If you did not recieve an email from me with the title "UK RED Digital Cinema Interest List - incomplete" and you want to be added to that mailing list please send me a PM with your preffered email address.
If you do not live in the UK but anticipate working here in the future - or if you just want to be CC'ed on everything to do with RED in the UK then that's fine by me. PM me your email and I'll add you to the list.
All the best, Phil

The person who made the list at the Couch was James Milner-Smyth from The Post Factory ('jamesms' on Red User).

Thanks Nick, I'll send him a PM. Good bit of detective work Holmes! Let's hope he still has it. Cheers, Phil

Hi Folks,
James is doing his Data Protection Act thing and sending you an email which you can opt into if you want the rest of the UK RED people on that list to have your email address. I think that makes sense. Anyway, I'd opt in if you want other RED users to contact you.
Silence from you will mean - exclusion, loneliness, Billy no mates 'I want cut my own head off syndrome', and a slow, painful, if not agonising death; induced by boredom, truculence and a palpable lack of Joie De Vie.
FX big echo plate "You have been warned my friends. Respond today without delay."
Besides which; I've got a cracking joke to tell you all that I couldn't possibly post on this venerable forum. No really I can't - it's that good - well no - it's better than that actually.
Have I convinced you yet ???
All the best. Phil

Thanks!
I've had 3 months of invaluable advice from this forum already, esp UK posters
I'm from the stopframe animation/pixillation world, so lots to learn for me

Hi Phil,
my last incarnation was production manager (freelance) and in that capacity I worked for Aardmans and others, but I wear other hats. My working partner(d.o.p.) and I like a bit of avant-garde R&D!
cheers
Mike
