I am looking for contacts from Europe or Africa who have experience with Aerial photography. I will hopefully be shooting with the red camera.

I need to put together a high quality helicopter shoot for a client in Nigeria. If anyone can point me in the right direction I am looking for advice on how to proceed.

What part of Europe? What part of Africa? I could recommend lots of companies in the UK, but that wont be much help if you're shooting in Timbuktu.

I am shooting in Nigeria, and I am researching different options. I thought about bringing a Tyler mount or some other rig from Europe or South Africa to attach to a helicopter here.

I am trying to find out if there are any guys on the African continent with expertise who are mobile enough to get to West Africa with this type of rig.

Best thing is to get stuff from South Africa. They will be experienced in shipping within africa and they will have pilots who are experienced in working with local politics.....

You could start with contacting "Big Banana Films", a production company I have worked with a lot in South Africa. Rick Mathews has a lot of experience in other parts of Africa.

There is a guy with a Tyler mount in Cape Town. Can't remember his name or outfit off the top of my head but he is there. Was trying to contact him early last year for some stuff but was never around.

You may also want to tap into the knowledge and contacts of Russell Campbell at Oceansense Productions. (http://www.oceansenseproductions.com/contact.shtml)

Cheers,
Mark.

If you're in Nigeria, give a call to Pan African airways; they've got a fleet of birds at facilities in Escravos, Warri, Pt. Harcourt and Lagos. 206, 406, 212, UH-1, S76 and others. Bristow might have a few ships in Lagos as well.

If you need a fixer, drop me a line, I've got a few mates who can assist.

Best,

Patch
